Meet the Staff

Bryan Garnett
President

Bryan is the founder of BCLS Inc. He is extremely talented and solution-driven business executive having more than 2 decades of business and landscape experience in his company through change, startup, turnaround, revitalization and accelerated growth. Bryan monitors all facets of daily operations and directed the expansion of this leading landscape and construction company including client cultivation and solicitation, sales and marketing, risk management, staff management and recruitment, cost and budget management, investment management, proprietary software development, contract negotiations and infrastructure development. Bryan gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of BCLS’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.

Michelle Pasowicz
Executive VP & Customer Service Manager

Michelle oversees daily operations of the company while heading the customer service department. She serves as a first level of review for customer service issues, monitors properties, and prepares reports to ensure that quality levels are being maintained. She develops and implements procedures to improve operational efficiency and oversees cross functional work relations that is targeted to resolve issues raised by customers. She also has expanded into sales and estimating, reporting grant entries, as well as being the corporation’s point of contact and overseeing the Mas Labor activities.

Linda Spencer
Senior Designer & Project Manager

Linda holds a degree in design, with a strong background in Urban Planning and Development, with over a decade of experience in the design industry. She is bright, imaginative, and a capable designer with strong communication skills. She utilizes Computer Aided Design (CAD) to create complex working drawings to develop outdoor environments for homes and commercial properties. She has a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. Linda spends much of her time creating plans and designs, preparing cost estimates, observing landscape construction, working along side architects and engineers, and project managing each job down to the smallest detail. She is highly motivated with a focus on excellent customer service.

Derrick Green
Senior Contract Manager

Derrick brings several years of experience with him to the BCLS staff. Getting his professional start while working in the Northeast, Derrick brings a wide array of skills to BCLS. He performs inspections at all site locations to oversee daily activities and direct field-based functions, collaborates in the recruitment, selection, supervision and training of all work crews. He also heads the Snow Removal division throughout the winter months.

Ben Chick
Construction/Development Manager

Ben has had over a decade of experience in renovation and construction projects. His job duties include planning, direct and coordinating, usually through supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Ben participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Rusty Alley
Senior Irrigation Manager

Rusty comes to BCLS with extensive irrigation installation and maintenance experience with a thorough background in pool installation and repair as well. He takes care of scheduling and training the irrigation department, tracking parts, and assisting the management team with customer service and sales.

Allison Hickman
Customer Service/Sales

Allison graduated in 2007 from VCU with a BFA in Interior Design. She has three years in commercial sales and design experience prior to joining BCLS in October of 2010. As a sales representative for BCLS she is covering multiple areas including the Metro Richmond, Fredericksburg, Northern Virginia and Maryland. Along with the being the sales rep in these areas she is also in charge of providing excellent customer service, project management as well as estimating commercial and residential properties.  Her dedication, passion, attention to detail, and ongoing customer interactions bring great value to her customers and BCLS.
